My niece did some field work there a while back, the poor thing!
She has to spend an ENTIRE summer on a beach on the Gulf side ofCostaRica,studying sea turtles.
That must have been awful!

(10,056 posts)so, do you get the red eyed tree frog up there? I've seen photos of them from the Arenal area but I don't know if they are naturally occurring there or if they are at a tourist place. I have them here at my place but they are not as beautifully colorful as the ones on the Caribbean slope:
