(40,154 posts)I knew I had this dog picture somewhere of an exercise class of dogs with people at Dewey Beach, Delaware. I got a little device that reads the thumb drive on my iPhone. So entering, it was no problem. Sometimes things work.

(6,250 posts)Hello everyone. Thank you California Peggy for letting me know about this contest. Shadow is hereby entered. I haven't taken pictures for some time, I rarely look at DU anymore (cannot tolerate trump), I'm getting by with meds for my depression and Parkinson's. We are looking to move to Spokane County next month because this farm has become too much to keep up. I am grateful for your concerns, thoughts and prayers.

(153,805 posts)To say that I'm thrilled to see your wonderful entry is an understatement!
So glad you got my message!
Shadow is a beautiful pup and we all love her.
Please take care of yourself! It would be wonderful to see you here in the Photo Group now and then, as you can manage it. We don't do politics here so it would be safe.
Thank you again for coming by!

(109,657 posts)I made a "booboo" posting a comment on the official thread, so I self-deleted and came to this one.
I know everyone is happy to see your post and that of your gorgeous Shadow. All the best, my friend.

(32,497 posts)from a close up portrait of Snowy to one that is more consistent with her character and identity as a white wolf. When we walked, especially when we were living in downtown Raleigh, people would stop and ask to pet her and were curious about what kind of dog she was. One little boy said to his mother as we passed by them, "that lady has a white wolf!". She did love to run in the woods where we lived in Chapel Hill, which is where this shot was taken. Without her red harness, one might wonder if, indeed, she could be a white wolf.

(20,627 posts)But then I remembered the patriotically dressed pupper I saw off at the Hands off protest In April and thought "Why not?"
I love it when dogs show up at these events, especially when they're so appropriately attired.
