From the mists of time--instrumental Surfing Music! (but not the one you're thinking of)

Just one of my all-time favorite simple melodies

WIPEOUT!

Surfing tunes and music for motorheads (Go little Cobra, My 409, etc.) were my faves in the early 60s. Then came the psychedelics and we were off to the races. During the summer of '67 the city of Boston hosted free concerts on Boston Common, weather permitting. I worked at 2 Park Square (with the cylindrical elevator) and would just cross Boylston Street to the Common and eat my lunch to some of the great bands before some of them even got their record deals. Big Brother and the Holding Company, Jefferson Airplane, The Allman Brothers, and dozens of others. Good times.
