They played the big fieldhouse in our city in '74. We had backstage passes and got invited to their "after party". (It wasn't a wild affair. Pretty tame.)
Floyd Sneed & Danny Hutton took us under their wing and made sure we didn't drink. (I was the oldest and still 17)
Those guys were like nice big brothers to us. One of my friends was a drummer so he was in awe of Floyd. I loved talking to Jimmy & Skip Konte, who was their added keyboard and synth guy about that side of things.
It was a great experience.

A couple of the singers (I won't name names) were serious hounds. Not super wholesome.
