Oasis at the Rose Bowl last night, 9/6/25, full two-hour concert

Not the close view of the band available in the 8/31 concert video I posted yesterday, but still very watchable, and I'll add better video later if I find some.

Very first thing I heard about last night's concert, when I got online this morning, was that Paul McCartney was there and thought the show was fabulous.

Second thing I heard was that what Liam says to the crowd before and after "Cigarettes & Alcohol" has become even more amusing. Both Liam and Noel can be very funny, and they're really enjoying themselves on this tour.

That part of the video above starts at 22:50.

The clip below of the song has Liam's full introduction, but not what he said afterward:

Setlist/times for the full concert video above:

1. Haven't seen a concert live or on the tube in sooo long. I'll watch this and try to understand the buzz!

2. Thanks! But the video I posted yesterday of their 8/31 show in NJ is better if you want a closer look at

And it helps to learn about their background - at least watch the free Supersonic documentary I recommended here:

That explains so much about their music and about Noel and Liam's relationship.

Together, that's only 4 hours to start to understand one of the best rock bands ever.

6. Actually watched both. They're a good solid concert band. I like them a lot more live than on record ...

... they have a very loyal following. I admit, I let reports of the brothers Galaghers' behaviors color my opinion of them. They are a good entertainment, but I still don't get why Wonderland was such a big hit.

I'll go a lot easier on them in the future.

7. Thanks! And fwiw, I never understood Wonderwall being their biggest hit, either. Not sure I'd even

include it in a list of 20 of their best songs. It isn't anywhere near as good as, say, Champagne Supernova (which I love the studio track of, as well as the live performances; it's also Rick Beato's favorite Oasis song).

I admit, I let reports of the brothers Galaghers' behaviors color my opinion of them.

So did I, back in the '90s. So did a lot of other people. Oasis could have been a much more succrssful band. Their worst behavior sold a lot of tabloids, but probably didn't help record sales much.

Thanks again for giving them a second chance!

4. I should add that what's on the screens is also spectacular and often includes closeups of the band.

But I posted that NJ concert, which speak easy sent me, because it showed the band so well.

Same setlist for both shows. Great setlist, but unvarying for this tour, though some fans going to multiple shows have been complaining that they want changed setlists between shows. I have no sympathy with them, because Oasis is doing so few concerts - only 5 in the US - and most fans will see only 1 concert. And the setlist itself has gotten rave reviews.
