(18,572 posts)I never saw Oasis live or even paid much attention to them, but all the exuberance about the reunion has me very excited to see this. I definitely recognize their sound and the lead vocalist.

(57,400 posts)the performance from this concert was incredible, with an amazing guitar outro. I was about to post just that 10-minute video when I decided to look for the entire show...and then some quick googling told me a lot of their fans consider this among their very best concerts.
Though the same is true of the Maine Road April 1996 concerts I posted yesterday: https://democraticunderground.com/1034148387

(57,400 posts)I've been watching YouTube the past week for more videos of really good performances from the 5 shows they did in Manchester, but there really weren't very many from the Heaton Park venue. Lots of videos where you could hear the crowd more than the band, and the view was mostly of raised arms and smartphones. (Hope the fan videos from the 5 concerts at Wembley this weekend and next week will be better.)
So finding old, professionally done concert videos to post is nice. . And this one does look and sound particularly good...
