Relevance. These issues just never go away. Makes me cynically believe there is a part of our so called civilization that needs these issues to prevail. I would bet many of these lost children end up as sex slaves to rich perverts. I keep seeing this scene in Boardwalk Empire of all these rich men sitting around in their "gentleman's club" with women and children in different stages of dress being assaulted by these men as though it was nothing, just their stage in life to be used.
