TCM Schedule for Tuesday, November 18: Birthday Tribute: David Hemmings /Star of the Month: Rock Hudson

David Hemmings, who was born November 18, 1941, was an actor, artist, director, producer, singer, and writer. I had somehow forgotten he began his career in childhood as a boy soprano and performed the works of Benjamin Britten. TCM has skipped two of his best-known movies, Blow-Up and Barbarella, as well as later work, and concentrated on the late '60s/early '70s.

As for Star of the Month Rock Hudson, tonight he's teamed with director Douglas Sirk and an array of memorable co-stars.
