Love the colors you used! Moths can be just as pretty or prettier than some butterflies. woodsprite 13 hrs ago #2

You have an easy open style that I have not been able to cultivate yet. OK, so far I've failed miserably, but I keep on trying! My friend recommended to loosen up that I get a huge piece of paper, tape it to my wall, use a large house brush and paint using sweeping strokes with my whole body. I haven't tried that yet but it sounds like fun. I'm 62 so if I'm going to be another grandma Moses, I have 15 years or so to work on it

BTW, two of my favorite paintings that you've done are "Paws Forward" of your kitty and "Take your pick" of the apples. It looks like you could just reach out and grab an apple off the tree! I painted a bowl of apples (oil paint) for my final piece in art class and the Prof said my colors were unrealistic and the apples were too dark. The next class I brought one in for him and set it on his desk. He gave me back the few points he took off.

Keep up the awesome work! I look forward to seeing your next pieces.
