After that he asked a few people if they had heard it before- and nobody had. The words came later.

I am convinced that Paul McCartney has a musical brain. Music just comes to him naturally. He never studied music and he did not know how to read a musical score. But he has an amazing gift- it just flows through him.

I think "Yesterday" has more covers by other artists than any other song.

I love The Beatles, especially their early songs and I have albums of their both on vinyl and CD. I even have a Beatles playlist on my phone with 25 of my favorite songs of theirs on it. It's hard to say one song is my favorite but I Saw Her Standing There stands out the most with I Want Hold Your Hand a close second.
