Neither my wife or I are "soccer" fans, nor could we explain the offsides rule with any clarity. But we are watching....

......The World Cup and enjoying it quite a bit. "Getting into it" to the point where we find ourselves disagreeing about the red card that led to Trump insinuating his fat ass into the proceedings. I thought that the red card to Balogun was excessive, especially since the original call was no foul. The missus thought that the foul was deliberate and the call from the video review was good.

My reaction to all this? "WTF, honey? This is soccer. Neither one of us should have an opinion, let alone try to defend it!"

You may comment on us and the evolving dynamic that is our marriage of 55 years, but please (puh-leeze) no commentary on the rules of "futbol". OK? I know it's hard.
