Dogs first time at the beach

All my dogs loved the lake. Always lived within walking distance of Lake Michigan and would take them a couple times a week to the beach. My black lab was afraid of feathers and every time he saw a seagull feather sticking out oh the sand he'd run behind us whimpering. Charlie was a really big baby. Never, ever heard him growl.
