I got slapped across the face twice.
In grade school, the principal slapped me as we were coming in from a fire drill. She told me to turn right or something when filing back into the school. I didn't hear her, and she thought I was disobeying her, so she slapped me across the face.
In Jr. high, another teacher told me to stop whistling a song, and I didn't hear her. She was very tall, and she backed me up against the wall and slapped me.
And people wonder how I got to be the way I am.

I know things were different back when but damn! I'm so sorry that you had that happen to you.
because it was ages ago, and I still remember it.
The teacher that slapped me in Jr. High...she was not one of my teachers. She was my friend's teacher, and I walked in the classroom to see him or something just after class. She didn't know me, I was just some kid to her. I knew she said something to me, but I didn't know what. She really slapped me hard...she was pissed.
As a rule...I got along great with my teachers though.

I was wronged frequently in school by only a few teachers but I was never slapped.

I think I've told you that Jr. High was rough...
The head troublemaker in school stood up in the middle of class one day, picked up a textbook, and punched it hard. The book flew onto the floor and he looked at the teacher and said "SEE THAT BOOK"? THAT'S WHAT I'M GOING TO DO TO YOUR FUCKING FACE!
Then the guy and the teacher got in an actual fist fight in the middle of the classroom. It looked like a UFC fight (he was a big kid who eventually got expelled).
No kidding! Things were wild back then!
I remember a few stories that you shared.
And this was public school? Was this school system in an Italian neighborhood?

Jr. High was grades 7, 8, and 9.
The boys from the north side of town were mostly Italian.
It was a whole big drama. Like you would see in a movie. The north siders carried knifes, smoked pot, etc. And they terrorized everyone else. These boys were legitimately tough and knew how to fight.
They kind of cut me a break because I was Italian, but I was from the south side of town.
But I did have to fight a few times until they didn't bother me any more.
It sounds rough!
Sometimes you got to get that respect from those guys!
Edit: I just realized that we just highjacked some other DU'ers thread!
I have the central air on with 2 wind tunnel fans to block the noise.
It's still light outside and currently they're working on loud firecrackers but once it turns dark it's going to be class 4 fireworks going off.
I might drug myself tonight, Marthe! 
This will go on until 300AM.
I think Honey Boo Boo next door is setting them off.
