We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful Wizard of.......
Cardiac surgery. In nine hours, I have to report to the Krupp Clinic in Essen. If there is trouble, I'll be out of commission for a while. If there is a disaster, I'll be gone for good. In all likelihood, however, I'll be back here late Saturday. With heart surgery, you never know, but 22 years ago, this very place saved my life, and their technology has only improved since then.
So, signing off for tonight, and, probably, tomorrow morning, too. For those of you who take religion seriously, tell the Great Pumpkin that he had better not let me down, or else next Halloween you'll be getting a Zucchini instead!
