I have a friend who had a tripod pittie that lost one of her front legs. Because pit bulls carry so much weight in their chest, it put a lot of pressure on her remaining leg. She had a doggy wheelchair that she would use for longer walks, but eventually her remaining front leg bowed and she was in a lot of pain. She had to have her euthanized when she was 10.
