This works on same principle as Temple Grandin's cattle press, which is used both to calm cattle and persons with autism.

Also similar to the effect of weighted blankes.

If you don't have an ace bandage, hug him firmly, pressing on his sides.

Also, gently stroking his ears from base to tips will release feel good brain chemicals. (Part of t-touch therapy.)

Try stroking her ears from base to tip, very gently. T-touch technique to release feel good brain chemicals to help with relaxation.
