I want butter and gravy on my mashed potatoes, so I dig a hole, bury a pat of butter in it, then close it up and pour the gravy on top. It's the Baked Alaska style of mashed potatoes.

But, she won't be able to next Thursday.
First, it's a potato puree, so no crater.
Second, there will be no gravy. Au jus, yes. Gravy, no.
On that subject, I've decided to char some Brussel spouts, then poach them in wine, and make a wine & butter sauce.
Yesterday, i told you the veggie was undecided. This idea popped into my head while playing golf today.
