The Heelers are amazing. Cattle and trail dogs. Many of my friends and acquaintances out west have them.

People often think she's an Aussie because she isn't the traditional black and white dog we think of as a BC, but they also come in a wide range of colors and textures. My BC is sable and white, like a Lassie type collie. Also, Aussies usually have docked tails because that's the breed standard for them. Aussies are super smart, too, but Border Collies hold the title of smartest dog. They can be scary smart. I've read that they are typically as smart as a 3 yr. old, and if mine is anything to judge by, that's the truth!
