1. AI slop. No way to know how much of it is accurate, or if the person behind that YouTube channel

has any personal knowledge of the subject. The channel's existed since 2011, but everything that was on there originally is gone.

121 videos obviously done using AI were posted in the last 9 months, averaging a new video every 2 or 3 days. Probably used AI for the script and AI for the voice and much of the images and video. Probably had AI suggest the ideas for the videos.

IF the person behind that channel had any real credentials for doing these videos, you'd see them listed.

3. That's what a chatbot told an anonymous YouTuber posting new clickbait videos every couple of days.

5. Ellen, there's no way to know if anything in that YouTuber's videos is accurate without researching it

yourself. It's no more likely to be accurate than AI Overviews scrambling facts.

There are REAL sources of info out there from REAL experts, as opposed to some YouTuber serving up AI slop with new clickbait videos churned out much faster than a real expert could do the work.

8. Again, you don't know if it was true unless you checked it against information from real experts.

Not some YouTuber who may have little or no interest in the subject but found it works as clickbait.

AI slop is so easy to generate that streaming platform Deezer says that AI slop music is now a third of what's uploaded every month.

YouTube is flooded with AI slop videos.

Kindle and other publishing platforms are flooded with AI slop books.

Many of the books not only inaccurate, but offering dangerous advice.

Real writers, artists, and experts deserve attention. Ignorant wannabes churning out AI slop don't.

9. It never dawned on me that you could heat rocks for warmth

I see a lot of posts on Reddit of folks living in cars struggling to stay warm. It's a rapidly growing problem that people are losing their apartments and sleeping in cars. Some of these insights have practical applications for folks today.

10. Just google

staying warm.without heating

or

stay warm living in car

or similar search terms, and you'll find lots of real tips from real people. Including discussions about how well certain tips work.

Using rocks to warm the inside of vehicles isn't a forgotten trick that you need an AI slop video from a fake expert on medieval times to give you.

experts of all types.

And that slop exists only because the robber baron AI companies stole the world's intellectual property, and people who don't care about the theft will still use AI tools to pretend they have knowledge and talent they don't have.

I'm on Team Human. Every liberal should be.

As for warning about errors from AI - the AI peddlers issue such warnings themselves, hoping they won't get sued for the mistakes their tools make and the harm they cause.

I don't remember reading about specific thermal values of cattle or sheep, but they were certainly brought inside when it was freezing to help warm the house. I'm sure we've all heard the, "Three Dog Night," story from Eskimos. We practice that here!
