Just in case anyone is wondering what MS NOW stands for.

The "MS" in MS NOW stands for "My Source" from the full name, "My Source for News, Opinion, and the World," reports The Los Angeles Times and The New York Times. The network, formerly MSNBC, chose to keep "MS" to retain a connection to its history as a joint venture with Microsoft, though the partnership ended years ago, according to The Guardian.

MS: "My Source"
NOW: News, Opinion, and the World

I think those that were leaving moved over a few weeks ago.

From what I can gather this new "MS Now has no connection to NBC anymore. It would appear NBC no longer has a 24 HR CABLE NETWORK

From google
The network formerly known as MSNBC, now renamed MS NOW, has a connection to NBC due to its history and former parent company, Comcast NBCUniversal. However, it is now a separate corporate entity called Versant, and the two are no longer directly affiliated as a result of a recent corporate spinoff.

I did just check and MSNBC is still listed under the NBC Logo on Streaming CABLE.
