Took CooCoo our outdoor cat to the vet Wednesday

He had one rotten canine tooth and one cracking, 2 teeth pulled plus stitches, 840 dollars and they didn't charge for cleaning his teeth or for trimming his nails. He is at least 13 years old.

CooCoo had another problem, he scratched his eye pretty badly, he has a corneal ulcer. Wife and I have to put antibiotic ointment in his eye 3 times a day and if it doesn't get better he probably ends up at an ophthalmic vet. Good news, this morning his eye does look a bit better.

I locked him in our garage and put out a litter box so he would stay inside in his heated cat house. I realized I also locked in another stray cat we named Smokey, oh well, there is also a heated cat house for him, going to stay confined for a week when Coo Coo goes back to the vet to see about his eye.

Funny story, we took CooCoo to the vet Wednesday morning, they pulled his teeth and kept him overnight, kept the fluids going to him. This is the first time in 13 years that he has been confined in a closed in space. I guess he tore his bed to pieces, probably trying to find a way out. I left the vet 6 pee pads as compensation.
