My interests are mostly technical so I'm not a frequent rag chewer but there are many who enjoy organized nets and ad-hoc conversations.

I have a modest setup: Yaesu FT-710, a 10 meter dipole (MFJ-1790) and a JPC-12 multiband vertical for HF. For handhelds I have a Yaesu VX-7R and a new Radtel 880g.

I'm getting back into the hobby after not be active for years. In earlier times I was mostly into VHF/UHF but I'm concentrating on HF now.

I'm currently a General but I'm studying for the Amateur Extra test.

Lots of fun.

if monies look ok this month a : i plan to get back into cb. i also want to get a 10 fm ht i understand dx is booming on 10 m right now. good luck on your exam. i dont do written tests well. when i passed my tech years ago, i took an oral test and barely passed. i met a man there and we became good friends . he went silent key in 2011. most of my ham buddies either went silent keys . moved away or cant come out and play any more , so i am going to make new ones .
