Asking for a friend who is not a star member.

When he enters DU and clicks on an article he gets a "Bad Request" message.
Anyone know what this is and how to get around it?

access articles to read (only a certain number of users can access an article at a time, I'm not 100% sure of the mechanics of tracking viewer readership on individual articles).

I had my settings on my antivirus software set to provide enhanced protection when public wifi is used. Many websites do not like VPN. So, after travelling and using hotel wifi, which triggered VPN protection, I was unable to open many files on DU. So, after travel, I have to go to my Avast Mobile Security app. to turn off VPN. (But I forget each time and get irritated. And don't ask me what VPN is.)

It allows one to connect more directly with other sites which allows for greater privacy and security.
