This year fall colours were really dull in my neck

of the woods. I found this vibrant bunch of leaves, probably photoshopped, but it cheered me up.

I've never seen a purple leaf. Made me wonder if it was photo shopped. applegrove Nov 8 #7

Some years there’s too much rain leading to poor colors and other years it’s too dry

And then there are years when the conditions are just right, and the colors are so breathtaking you can't believe what your eyes are seeing.

This year in my neck of the woods here in New England it was too dry.

The longest fall I can remember -- started in September and still going. Orange and red.

Summer was dry but September was warm and wet. Haven't had a hard frost yet. 8 amazing weeks.

We’re in the lower Catskills and from August until now the weather has been lovely. The trees have been colorful for weeks though it’s starting to end.
