Two shots to get the party started. Now a San Francisco Cocktail. Sloe gin, sweet vermouth, dry vermouth, and a dash of of bitters. Yummy! Fruity, without being too sweet.
My first ever cocktail with sloe gin.
I love you all

(7,765 posts)Okay,so here's the deal:
- I'm a Navy vet who has been stone cold sober for 31 years.
- Another DU member, is a Marine vet who had his last drink in 1968.
He and I have an agreement to celebrate the end of this nightmare with a toast, and it will be scotch on the rocks. I'm thinking you might be able to suggest an appropriate scotch for the occasion.

(71,313 posts)Its incredible. Smooth, peaty, complex. When you crack the seal and open the bottle, it smells like a campfire. Instead of ice, pour it over chilled whiskey stones. That way, it wont dilute. Then add a few drops of water to release the complex flavor profile.
Then sip and enjoy.
