Never had this problem before. Just got a new Phone and for some reason the font size on only DU is huge right now. To the point where I have to turn my phone on the side to see all the things that I want to see. This is an iPhone 17 and the iOS is iOS 26. Ive adjusted the font size for the entire system and it seems to have worked for all apps except this one. Does anyone know the solution? Thanks in advance.

Figured it out. Was pretty obscure. When you go into the site theres a little box icon with a couple lines under it. If you go into that theres a big A on the right and a little A on the left. Picked the little A and all went back to normal. This is a safari setting.
Thanks for replying.

(21,236 posts)I have an Android, so I don't know anything about iphones.
But when I Googled it, it kept mentioning a fix for a safari browser...i wasn't sure if that's standard on iphones or not.

my font is too small even when I have my iPhone turned horizontal
It used to be larger in DU 3 , but the transition to DU 4 made it smaller 😕
You can check your account settings , there is an option there for larger font , you may have it checked

When you go into the site theres a header showing where you are (democratic underground) and theres a little box icon with a couple lines under it. Click on that and theres a little a on the left and a big a on the right. I picked the little a and my font size returned to normal.
Now that Im back in Skinner mode (my preference) that line moves to the bottom of the screen.
If you tap the big A it expands the size. Tap again it grows again. Think the max is 200%. Same is true of the little A. Ive got it at about 80% now.
