Rory, his wife Maria, his daughter Anissa and her fiance Monte and I enjoyed a wonderful Lebanese meal at his favorite restaurant, and just a magically as the football game Saturday, it was a wonderful experience with a surprise visit from another family related by marriage showing up halfway through our meal.

The first photo is with Rory and Steven, the man who made all our food expertly, and he was raised into the Risk family as four generations have been eating there since the early 1970's.
A great Mom and Pop restaurant where not just the ownership got passed down generations, but also the relationships with their customers.
Just another example of the subtle bonds that bind families across the ages and cultures.
I had stuffed cabbage rolls, meat pie and stuffed grape leaves, all with cooked meat versus raw lol. The flavors are amazing in their complexity and yet so subtle.

This is Rory and his daughter Anissa, and following that is a mug shot of the two troublemakers in the group,

That would be Rory and yours truly lol.
Rory had a wonderful time, we all ate our fill and I was the only one stupid enough to drink Turkish Coffee at 6pm in the evening, hence a troubled sleep night lol
Thank you all for your wonderful support and making this trip possible.
There are many more posts and pictures to come, and just as many laughs and tears too.
I'll post again later tonight or tomorrow.
Each of these posts is offered in love and gratitude.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
