Spring). We were in the Tut exhibit when I turned around and came face to face with the gold Tut death mask. I was within inches of one of the world's most valuable artifacts. It was out of its glass case and being carried by 2 museum workers to be cleaned. It was beautiful and totally shocking. The urge to reach out and touch it was almost impossible to suppress. I think I would have been arrested or shot if I had given into the urge.

3. I would have liked to have seen The Pyramids but that didn't work out. This museum looks fantastic! Powerful....

I did see King Tut when they had the exhibition at the Met in NYC.

Many wonderful Egyptian artifacts at the Met.
And the special big room they built to house The Temple of Dendur which would have been buried under water from the Aswan High Dam that was being built. Quite magical.
