Baba Yaga, Slavic Witch of the Woods
Baba Yaga, the dreaded crone of Slavic folklore, stands solemn among the withered trees and fallen leaves, her frail frame wrapped in tattered crimson cloth. Behind her crouches her crooked hut, low and ominous, its threshold marked by scattered skulls and bones. She is the hag of autumn decay, the keeper of death’s wisdom, and the shadow that waits at the forest’s edge.
Baba Yaga, the primordial crone of Slavic folklore, emerges from the shadowed forest, her gaunt face carved with centuries of wisdom and terror. Hooded and ragged, she grips her crooked staff as her crooked hut glows faintly behind her, a living sentinel on the edge of the human world. She is not merely a woman but the forest itself — mysterious, merciless, and eternal.
