https://www.reddit.com/r/NatureIsFuckingLit/comments/1oiqzel/deer_defends_her_baby_stomps_on_woman_who_got_too/
"From the article: On May 23 in downtown Dalian, Liaoning Province, a woman was attacked by a sika deer in a greenbelt area after the deer had recently given birth. Fortunately, she only suffered minor scrapes.
According to eyewitness and photographer Mr. Ma, the woman had approached the mother deer from a rear diagonal angle and was photographing the fawn when the mother deer turned, spotted her, and suddenly struck her repeatedly with its front hooves.
The woman used her hands to shield her head as onlookers shouted in an attempt to stop the attack. After around 20 seconds, the woman was able to escape. She tidied herself up afterward and left the scene on her own, apparently without serious injury."
