I have also put in a call to my regular dentist (who is a wonderful guy) and hope to hear back from him soon.

Is at work now. He could talk with you tonight (while the Brewers are busy winning their game). Do you happen to have copies of your digital X-rays? If not, call your dentist’s office and request them, asking to stay on the line to make sure you receive them successfully. Then, you could send them to him for a second opinion from a friend, if you want. My husband has been a general dentist for decades. He tries to save what a patient has before recommending expensive stuff.

Then again, you may be right. We lost the first game at home against the Phillies, too, after beating them twice at their place.

Then we sent 'em home for the winter.

Thanks folks for telling me he was a dentist! I hadn't known that. My strong guess is that I won't be able to get an implant but I have an appt. with my dentist who can examine my dental situation and give me feedback.
