IIRC, it was originally intended as a hangover cure.

I liked the citrus taste with rum, back when I could enjoy such beverages.

Haven't been around for the weekend cocktail hour for some time as I have been relocating from the Rockies to the northeast, very northeast. Today I, and two wonderful male friends, moved 90% of my stuff into my new digs. I pay the same as I did in the old place and have more than twice the room and privacy. Amazing.

So I am having a good weekend, my body hurts like hell but I am far from where I was and better off for it as I also moved from a horribly red state to a blue one where I feel safer. Hell, I'll be 69 in a couple weeks, my body feels every day of it but my mind is still somewhere in my forties.

My stress level has decreased exponentially in the past few hours! I plan on helping evict 'concerned susan' from her senate perch and put some more Blue in Congress! I want voting to be a pleasant experience again!

I still have some settling to do, I've been here since June,camping out at a friend's while I looked for housing. It's not easy anywhere. I came back to my childhood home state and I have no regrets coming back, people are nice and the tourists are a very different group of people than I was dealing with in the old state.
