I'm almost certain that he didn't make it. The plane landed and the EMT's were already at the gate; the passengers were instructed to remain seated, and the EMT's boarded right away and carried the man to a gurney right outside the jetway. I'll never forget how the man looked when the paramedics took him; white as a sheet and all the life sucked out of him. The passengers were all let off, and as I deboarded I got one more look at them trying to revive him on the gurney. I didn't want to gawk, but it did not look good.
