I was stationed in England in the mid-90s and I'd take the train to London to see some plays. Of all the plays I saw, the one I liked the best was Les Miserables.

I also really like Dear Evan Hanson. I think the writing duo of Pasic and Paul are really great and they are writing some of the best music around these days.
I also think an underappreciated gem is Book of Mormon. It is hysterical and irreverent but the music is shockingly good considering who wrote it (the South Park guys)
