Apparently Kroger and its affiliates advised staff to not give the advertised senior discount unless the customer asked for it. Memos similar to the above were circulated to cashiers and in some instances posted on registers. Bastards! 🤬

they have all the same stuff, prices are comparable
little higher on some stuff but not by much. Dont mind paying a little more to keep my friends and neighbors employed. Meat department is da bomb
love it when the butcher is your neighbor. Our community is high in seniors, he packages smaller portion meat choices for Wednesday sales for seniors then we get our 10% senior discount on top of that, without asking. Much of the produce is locally grown, fresh from the fields.
Such is life in the small town of Hale.
