Sh!tbaggery Kroger Style:

Apparently Kroger and its affiliates advised staff to not give the advertised senior discount unless the customer asked for it. Memos similar to the above were circulated to cashiers and in some instances posted on registers. Bastards! 🤬

...when they closed Ralph's stores instead of paying a frontline bonus to workers. Screw them.

Shop local markets, support my community…they have all the same stuff, prices are comparable…little higher on some stuff but not by much. Don’t mind paying a little more to keep my friends and neighbors employed. Meat department is ‘da bomb’…love it when the butcher is your neighbor. Our community is high in seniors, he packages smaller portion meat choices for Wednesday sales for seniors then we get our 10% senior discount on top of that, without asking. Much of the produce is locally grown, fresh from the fields.

Such is life in the small town of Hale.

Should they just assume based on how someone looks? That might piss off a lot of people who aren't seniors yet.

I despise those animated Kroger people ads. If I ever actually saw one of those little motherfuckers dancing in the aisle over low prices, I'd dropkick them all the way into the Frozen Foods section.
