I am so glad she was able to take in and care for the elderly dog, who looks so happy now. riversedge Sep 3 #2

I rescued my senior hound from the shelter six years ago. Blind in one eye, she's 10 now. Was a nervous wreck when I brought her home. She wouldn't let anyone get near her. But my 3 year old granddaughter insisted on hugging her and kissing her snout. That was the beginning of Tricksy deciding to let a loving family into her heart. She's a different dog now. It took a lot of patience and love, but she seems to recognize that now. Loves her family, her home, her sofas, her playmates (son's dogs), her food. She's playful as a pup and has the softest, glossiest coat. She's very affectionate, too.
