(192,948 posts)4. I'm having naan of that. 🥸
My wife got some about a month ago and I LOVE it
Naan, an Indian flatbread, is characterized by its soft, chewy texture from enriched dough (often including yogurt, milk, or eggs) and distinctive charred bubbles from baking in a tandoor oven. Pita, a Middle Eastern flatbread, is simpler, typically made with just flour, water, yeast, and salt, and forms a pocket ideal for stuffing. Key differences include their richer, dairy-infused ingredients and tandoor-cooked method for naan versus the simpler, pocket-forming style of pita.
