She got the recipe from my Uncle Larry, it's pretty basic and simple but sometimes that's the best.
Red potatoes, diced celery and red onion. Mustard and mayo to taste ...usually a little more Mayo than mustard and some sweet relish juice for a little vinegar tang. Salt and pepper and that's it!

Because my husband made the freaking best deviled eggs……just saying. Our friend’s Christmas party?? My husband’s deviled eggs were ALWAYS gone in about 15 minutes, other people who brought deviled eggs just quit bringing them because his were so darn good and no one ate theirs. Oh, and his were made with love, as the secret ingredient, that’s what he always told me. He did pass away in May of 2024 so I never got the real recipe. But dang there were the best.

mashed with sautéed onions and chopped roasted poblanos. Then mixed with sour cream, cream cheese, and Velveeta.

Oh, and I'll bring carambolas too, my trees have way more than I can eat right now.

Sauté 8 to 10 ounces sliced mushrooms in a tablespoon of oil, medium heat. Use a stainless big frying pan. Don't be putting vinegar in your cast iron.
Add equal amount of chopped kale leaves, stirring till kale sort of wilts
Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste
Add in couple tablespoons of good balsamic vinegar, give it another 2 to 3 minutes in the pan.
Add toasted slivered almonds for crunch if you like, or red pepper flakes for zing.
Serve it up hot.
