Need a head shot of Ruth Bader Ginsburg for my "Wall of Women" project. Do you have a suitable one?

Yes, an actual printable photo I can print out on an 8x10 sheet of paper.

More on the Wall Project later. Briefly, it is a series of photos of great art, in close up range, of women immortalized by great artists and photographers, printed out on 8x10 sheets of paper and taped to the wall.

The title of my series is "And Still We Rise." It is on the wall of my little office directly behind my desktop computer and printer so I can gaze on it and get inspiration every day.

It starts with head shots of the Bruges Madonna, Venus from Botticelli's Birth of Venus, and other artists: Leonardo's angel, Rembrandt's Saskia, Millais's Ophelia, Matisse's fauvist portrait of Madame Matisse, Klimpt's Lady with a Fan, Bernini's St. Teresa in passion, and on into modernity. Photographs include head shots of Toni Morrison, Ida K. Welles, Dorothea Rae's migrant mother. Faith Ringgold's Quilt of famous black women, Amy Sherold's portrait of Michelle Obama, head of Goya's Duchess (clothed one!) are here.

This presentation is being prepared for viewing here on DU but is not ready yet. It may be on YouTube for special viewing.

You're gonna love this!

I'm no prude (or I certainly wouldn't be doing art history stuff). But I find that nudity can be a distraction so I do work-arounds. And besides, the costuming of the women in the portraits is fabulous!

If you have a suggestion please let me know! I've got a tech guy who comes in to help me with my art projects and computer maintenance. He can print out just about anything so please give me your suggestions! I'm sure I missed some great ones!

I actually met her way back before she was a judge and I remember how small she was physically. I didn't know at the time that she would be such a force for women.
