I have been under bad stress. our EVIL landlord evicted us from the floating home WE Own. I have cancer

We had to go over to our houseboat and get the last of our stuff yesterday. We could not find an attorney to sue the POS landlord for having dangerous docks.
Ann our 5 neighbors in the moorage and folks in the neighborhood hate the Evil POS's guts and are on our side.

Praying that God gives me strength to get through chemo and radiation.

2. I'm sorta confused, if you own the home but rent a dock space, couldn't you move the boat?

I mean obviously you've thought of that I'm just curious what precludes doing so? Is it in a lake and these are the only spots to dock a houseboat and it's not moveable from that lake for whatever reason? Part of why I'm asking is because I've been thinking of a houseboat when I retire as well.

Anyways, so sorry to hear of you going through this crap at the same damn time as you're fighting through cancer, that is awful Healing vibes sent your way, friend.

Havng casually looked at the list of various other forums here, I did notice a cancer support group here.
Perhaps it would be of help to you at some point in the future.

newspaper or tv investigative reporter who might interview you and your neighbors to possibly do a story, get community attention and perhaps someone might step forward from that to help?

Just a thought. Again, I wish you the very best and hope that you can fully despite all this turmoil.

Could you contact a local media outlet? A radio station? Newspaper? Might be good to get some publicity about the predicament you’re in.

Or maybe a local official, Congressmember, or ombudsman of some sort. Draw attention to it. Make some noise about it. You shouldn’t have to suffer in silence.
