TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - On August 16, 2025 the Tucson Police Department and the Tucson Fire Department responded to a crash between two street cars.
TPD says that the two cars had collided and derailed on 4th Avenue and 8th Street with multiple injures being reported.
-snip-
TPD says one street car driver was attempting to turn, and had failed to confirm that the rail had switched tracks and attempted to stop. The street car was unable to stop in time before colliding with the other street car.
