If you've ever lived near the Central or Northern California coast, you know what I mean -- during summer, you wake up to that "marine layer" probably six mornings a week. Maybe it burns off by 11 a.m., or 2 p.m., or maybe it lasts all day; you just never know. It's depressing and makes it harder to get going.
