(127,217 posts)When I was in college, a good friend played this sonata, #32, Op. 111, Beethoven's last one, at his senior recital. Most of his later music is very strange for the time (he was deaf by then, so other people's music could no longer bother him); the last string quartets are especially weird. I remember my friend practicing this for a long time; it's quite difficult - but Beethoven wouldn't have cared.

that was backed by Rondo Alla Turca. I cant remember what food it was, but part of the lyrics were
have a little (whatever it was) in your life.
The ad was a clever and entertaining as the one for raisins set to Heard It On The Grapevine.
Ive tried many times to look this up, to no avail.
