Food wars

I bought a bag of 6 bagels. Blueberry, some bakery in NJ. Inside the bag, the top three bagels were plump, the hole was just about closed. The bottom three bagels had huge holes. They put the bagels with less dough in the bottom half of the bag. Shrinkflation!

I bought a round of Brie cheese by Lactallis American Group, Buffalo NY. The Brie is wrapped in folded paper, probably sheeted with very thin plastic on one side. The round box is totally light flexible cardboard, about the thickness of file folders. I mean, a food item with almost no plastic. Biodegradable. Amazing.
