Hope things are better.

It's really heartbreaking to read what you're going through. You lost a man you loved and you had to surrender your dog. I not sure whether you are in an independent apt or some type of senior residence. In either case it does sound as if you are struggling both mentally and physically. If there is one in your area, look into your local senior citizen center. I know the one in my area provides transportation to and from Dr Appts and other destinations. Many provide support and socialization activities.
