I have had a couple bombers in the past week or so. Mostly I've been getting scores of 5 and 6 the past few months. I call it the "high score" when I max out to make myself feel better.

With h, j, t, g, d, and v as first-letter options here(!), words like "death" and "vigil" would go a long way to cutting down the possibilities by eliminating 2 or 3 choices with each guess. And sometimes NOPEs just happen!
