I am in complete agreement about DUers being the absolute best!

I have never personally seen a jeroboam of bubbly, nor do I want to think about the price! Cannot imagine trying to open such!

I guess I missed an anniversary for myself too. I mostly hung out in the lounge when I first started. I still haven't posted much for being on as long as I have. DU was a refuge during the corporate media boner about the god awful war in Iraq.

I also lurked here for a long time before finally taking the plunge and joining. There were some truly viscous flame wars back in the early days.
I also lost some of my time/posts when DU went through the change over to the new version. I had been off at that time and forgot my old username and password. Had to create a new name and password.
Your posts make me glad every day that I did that.

May we get to enjoy many more years of creating good trouble.
