She is ferocious and if she didn't love me, she might have taken off my arm when I was shoving pills down her throat.

She keeps the coyote pack away. She took their deer kill away from them one night and had the most glorious time, throwing the skin in the air, and it took her months to eat the entire skeleton. Her jaws are like steel. I really love her, and she keeps people at bay. She looks so scary that no one realizes that she is terrified of people, which makes me happy. It recommended that Kangals are not trained for security because they are so serious, they would just kill their opponent.

There are pictures of them in Assyrian pictographs.

Not exactly the best family pet. Same applies for Caucasian shepherds.
