(110,810 posts)So, when Trump's stormtroopers see my list, which horrible stereotype will allow them to send me to some gulag in chains?
Still, I am the product of all I have learned, all I have experienced, everyone that I have met--so I don't regret any of it. I am only saddened that travel now--for work or for pleasure may be intensely difficult, costly, or unwise-- and certainly prohibitive for many.

(73,761 posts)I've always lived in the US.
I've worked in 41 countries outside the US. None on the African continent though.
Many I have been 20, 30, or 40 times.
7 in South America, 8 or 9 in Asia, Canada, Mexico, Costa Rica. The rest are in Europe.
I traveled a lot for my job!

(2,491 posts)I'm an old man (75) and I'm just not up to the rigors of that kind of traveling any more, but in my life I have been in (in order) ...
U.S. (born and bred, I was 47 before I ever left the U.S. for the first time)
England
France
Netherlands
Belgium
Luxembourg
Germany
Austria
Switzerland
Italy
Thailand

... and, if I can count countries where I just changed planes in the airport, ...

South Korea
That's all. Even though I don't think I'll ever leave the U.S. again, I'm still keeping my U.S. passport current.
