I had a dance bit in the persona of a carnival barker worked out to the second half of "Karn Evil 9 (Second Impression)."

I also thought then that "Jerusalem" was one of theirs.

I still have the first seven Chicago albums, including "Carnegie Hall." Once in awhile I'll use the medley "Ballet for a Girl in Buchannon" as my sleep song.

Sgt. Pepper's is the only album I've ever worn completely out, to the point where, decades later, I had to buy another one. I bought the original in 1966, when it was a new album, and I have been told that if it were in good condition, it would be worth a lot of money now. As I recall, some years back it was voted the best rock album of all time. That must have been 25 or 30 years ago, though.

P.S. — I assume that by "album" you mean old-fashioned 33-1/3 rpm vinyl records.

"album" means simply a collection of things, such as a photo album. "LP" is typically used to specify a 13-inch disc of music. But a CD, a cassette tape, 8-track tape or reel-to-reel tape, are also "albums," because they're collections of songs, same as an LP. Nobody ever calls them that, though because English is weird.

Mid-80s, I was flying from LA to Germany and our flight stopped at Bangor, ME for refueling. It was near midnight and they had a small shop opened where we could by snacks and magazines. I was looking at a rack of cassette tapes and came across Marty Robbins' Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs tape. I bought it because it had the song I liked El Paso on it. I'm not one who cares much for country and western but this tape became one of my favorites. About 10 years later, I found The Essential Marty Robbins 1951-1982 box set which had 50 of his songs on it. That's the album I still listen the most to today.

The following classic albums have one thing in common. Try to guess what it is before scrolling down for the answer.

Led Zeppelin - IV
Jethro Tull - Aqualung
The Rolling Stones - Sticky Fingers
T. Rex - Electric Warrior
Carole King - Tapestry
Who's Next - The Who
Every Picture Tells a Story - Rod Stewart
Meddle - Pink Floyd
Fragile - Yes
L.A. Woman - The Doors
What's Going On - Marvin Gaye
Master of Reality - Black Sabbath
At Fillmore East - The Allman Brothers Band
Santana - 3
Elton John - Madman Across the Water
Yes - The Yes Album
Traffic - The Low Spark of High Heeled Boys

Just look at that list. All those albums came out...

in one year: 1971!

There's more, too, if you like David Bowie (I don't think Hunky Dory is his best work, myself), Paul McCartney and John Lennon, Badfinger, and Janis Joplin.

My favorite album? Depends on my mood, really.

Wishbone Ash
Most of everything mentioned above with exceptions of course.
I was extremely fortunate to promote /manage a Uriah Heep concert tour in my neck of the woods back in '82. The band was on it's tour to the USSR when I convinced them to make a detour. They were so obliging. And through my network found a tobacco company about to launch a new brand. And gladly sponsored the 3 - city tour. The first ever 'rock group' who perfomed a full concert in my hometown. After ensuring venue, ticket sales, marketing, security etc through my Dad's closest friend who oversaw the cops. The concert was mind blowing. As I stood surveying the scene of kids rocking out a few friends and decided to light up a pipe. As we exhaled a cloud of smoke Les Kerslake tossed his name signed drumsticks straight at my chest. Grabbed and held on to them later framed it. Followed that by other jazz artists etc.
Steelhart
Whitesnake
White Lion
Great White
Jeff Beck
CSN&Y
CSN
Neil Young
Scorpions
Mettalica
And too many more to list.
